The following pieces are a new series of sculptures that are born from magnifying preexisting jewels of mine, which per se, are very sculptural.

These particular sculptures are especially meaningful, for this is the first time I properly "sculpturize" my jewellery, marking the beginning of a new facet in my jewellery and jewellery making, where it directly meets and intersects with sculpture, and viceversa. This translation to the larger scale completely resignifyes jewellery, for instead of wearing it on the body, you can eventually –depending on the size– inhabit it... This enrichment given by the cross-section of disciplines makes the conceptuality behind these sculptures particularly interesting, and personally, very exciting.
