A lifelong fascination with everything related to cosmology led me to have interstellar landscapes as my favorite inspiration for quite a long time, which meant the starting point on my way to abstraction. This evolution is quite paradoxical, for although its spectacular and infinite forms seem abstract and capricious at first glance, they’re actually much more figurative than abstract when technically addressed on canvas. However, having been involved in formally deciphering the spatial structures made me inhabit these geographies, both mentally and spiritually, what inspired me to dive even deeper into the mysteries of existence, for which abstraction is a key formal tool, because it has no limits.
